Marinara Tomato Sauce Recipe
- 1 lg. onion
- 1 (lg.) can Italian Imported Peeled Tomatoes
- 1 sm. can tomato paste
- Basil
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Put cut onion and about 2 spoonfuls of extra virgin olive oil into saucepan.
- Cook till onions become golden brown.
- Then, after squashing peeled tomatoes with your fingers, add in the tomatoes to the pan and simmer for at least 45 min.
- Then add in basil leaf, quite a bit, to give it the proper taste.
- Salt and pepper may be added when tomatoes are put in the pot.
- Also, put tomato paste in at the same time as the peeled tomatoes.
