Homemade hot fudge sauce
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tbsp salted butter
- 12 oz of a good quality semisweet chocolate. I use ghiradelli , this can be in bar form or chip form
- In a sauce pan, bring cream, butter and corn syrup just to a boil over a medium heat.
- Continualy mixing.
- This should take about 2 minutes.
- Remove pan from heat and whisk in chocolate until melted.
- Serve over your favorite desserts.
- NOTE***cooled fudge sauce can be kept refrigerated in air tight container for 3 weeks.
- Reheat in microwave to a pouring consistancy.
