Peanut Butter, Banana, and Bacon Sandwich

  1. Begin by taking a slice of the white bread, and brush on some of the reserved bacon fat from the cooked bacon (yes, I said it) on the outside of the slice.
  2. Place one slice of the bread, bacon fat side down, on a large skillet.
  3. Spread a decent amount of the peanut butter onto the slice of bread.
  4. Top with 2 slices of the cooked bacon, add the sliced banana on top of the bacon, then top with 2 more slices of bacon.
  5. Take a bit more peanut butter and spread on the remaining slice of bread, and place peanut butter side down on top of the bacon.
  6. Brush a bit more bacon fat on to the top of the bread.
  7. On medium heat, begin making your sandwich.
  8. Keep an eye on the bottom by gently lifting it up to make sure you get a nice golden brown exterior.
  9. Once you achieve that, carefully flip it over, and cook on the other side until golden brown.
  10. Remove it from the skillet, and plate it up.
  11. Now if you have ever had a peanut butter and banana sandwich, well, this one tops that.
  12. For one, it is warm and creamy, and two, it has some wonderful, smoked Nueskes bacon.
  13. Biting into this sandwich yields nothing but excellence.
  14. An awesome and crunchy exterior unveils a warm and creamy interior that, when paired with the fruitiness from the banana and the smokiness from the bacon, well, make it, and you can see where Im going with this.
  15. Its just wonderful.
  16. A bit messy to eat, it is a great one to enjoy with a kid.
