Espresso Grog
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 18 teaspoon allspice
- 18 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 18 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 18 teaspoon ground cloves
- 12 cup cream
- 1 tablespoon orange zest, cut into 12 strips
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest, cut into 12 strips
- 12 ounces espresso
- rum extract
- In a suacepan over low heat, melt the butter.
- Add brown sugar and spices.
- Allow to cool (mixture can now be stored in the refidgerator till ready to use).
- To serve, place one teaspoon of the mixture in the bottom of a small espresso cup.
- Add 1 tablespoon cream, and 1 strip of both orange and lemon zest.
- Add 1 oz espresso and a tiny bit (less than 1/8 tsp) of rum extract.
