Oven-Baked Halibut Steaks
- 2 medium halibut steaks
- 2 slice white bread
- 2 tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. seasoned pepper
- Parsley sprigs for garnish
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. With knife, cut each halibut steak crosswise in half; chop bread into small pieces.
- On waxed paper, mix bread, parsley, seasoned salt, and seasoned pepper.
- In 13-inch by 9-inch glass baking dish, arrange halibut steaks; press bread-crumb mixture on top.
- Bake halibut, uncovered, 8 to 10 minutes, until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
- Garnish fish with parsley sprigs.
