Smokey Country Style Ribs
- 3 lb. country-style pork ribs
- garlic powder
- black pepper
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/2 c. brown sugar (or use substitute to equal 1/2 c.)
- 1/2 c. chili sauce
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. liquid smoke
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- Heat oven to 325u0b0.
- Sprinkle ribs with garlic powder and pepper.
- Mix catsup, brown sugar (or substitute), chili sauce, vinegar, liquid smoke and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place ribs, meaty side up, on rack in roasting pan.
- Brush with sauce.
- Bake uncovered 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours or until tender, turning and brushing with sauce every 30 minutes.
- Cut into serving pieces.
- Heat remaining sauce to boiling.
- Serve with ribs.
