Citrus Bars
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons icing sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 18 teaspoon mace
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 23 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 12 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 12 teaspoon lemon zest
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice (fresh)
- Oven 350 degrees.
- To make crust: blend all together until crumbly and press into an 8 inch square pan.
- Bake approximately 15 minutes or until slightly colored.
- To make topping: whisk all ingredients together and pour over hot crust.
- Bake about 20 minutes.
