Boiled Vanilla Custard Recipe
- 4 Large eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 quart. lowfat milk, hot
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 lg. marshmallows, cut up
- Beat Large eggs.
- Add in sugar and lowfat milk.
- Cook in a double boiler over low heat.
- Cook till mix thickens and coats a metal spoon, Stir constantly.
- Remove from heat and add in 6 large marshmallows cut up into small pcs.
- Heat completely.
- Add in 1 tsp.
- vanilla.
- Cold and chill.
- Serve with whipped cream or possibly Cold Whip.
- Great with coconut cake.
