Macrobiotic Chocolate-Like Carob Cake
- 150 grams Whole wheat flour (or all purpose flour)
- 100 grams Carob powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- 180 ml Soy milk
- 5 tbsp Maple syrup
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 Chopped nuts, or any topping you like
- Put the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk.
- If you're nit-picky about lumps, sift the ingredients before mixing.
- Add all rest of the ingredients to the bowl, and mix do not knead together until the batter is evenly incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the cake pan, and sprinkle with nuts or any other topping of your choice.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180C for about 30 minutes.
