salsa roja
- 8 tomatoes
- 4 jalepeno peppers
- 1 small onion
- 3 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 2 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- boil tomatoes until soft
- peel and chop onion
- remove stem from jalepenos leave seeds
- in food processor combine tomatoe onion and jalepenos blend
- add cilantro,black pepper,olive oil,chili powder, garlic.
- blend again
- place salsa in container and let sit for 1hr to enhance flavor.
- for more kick add a few serrano peppers to your liking.
- use to top tacos and any of your favorite foods!
