Beef Jambalaya 1 Recipe

  1. Cut beef into 1/2-inch cubes.
  2. Toss with thyme.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat 2 Tbsp.
  5. oil in skillet.
  6. Stir in green pepper, green onion, celery and mushrooms.
  7. Cook till tender; remove from pan.
  8. Add in remaining Tbsp.
  9. oil to pan.
  10. Stir in beef.
  11. Cook till browned.
  12. Stir in water, wine, beef bouillon cubes and Worcester- shire sauce.
  13. Simmer, covered, 30 min.
  14. Stir in rice, cook 25 min longer, or possibly till rice is tender.
  15. Stir in precooked vegetables, stirring constantly till heated through.
