Cranberry Tangerine Glaze with Bourbon

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir occasionally.
  3. Cool to room temperature and chill, or serve immediately over your favorite grilled game bird breast.
  4. This sauce can be made ahead of time and freezes well.
  5. Prepare some in the fall when cranberries are inexpensive and at their freshest.
  6. Thaw the sauce overnight in the refrigerator.
