Stove top mostaccioli

  1. Put sauce in a big pot and set aside
  2. Chop onions and green peppers
  3. Saute your mushrooms in olive oil over medium heat with garlic powder, garlic salt, onion powder, basil, and oregano to taste.
  4. When done put into the sauce.
  5. Brown your hamburger meat with the onions and green peppers.
  6. Season with black pepper and the minced garlic and the other seasonings listed above (oregano, basil, garlic powder/salt, onion powder) to taste.
  7. Tip: I like to add a little olive oil to the meat and cook it covered in between low and medium separating the meat frequently.
  8. This way the onions and green peppers have time to become tender) Drain when done.
  9. Add meat to sauce.
  10. (I used Prego fresh mushroom.
  11. I like to add extra basil, oregano, and garlic powder too.
  12. But that is optional) stir until blended.
  13. Put sauce mixture on low heat and cover stirring frequently for about 20-25 minutes.
  14. So the flavors can blend together.
  15. Cook your noodles according to the box instructions.
  16. Add drained noodles to sauce and stir until well blended and heated throughout.
  17. Add the 1 cup of cheese.
  18. Stir on low until it is all blended together.
  19. Add more cheese once it's served
  20. Try with my garlic bread if you like
