chicken ground sirloin and pasta
- 1 lb ground sirloin, beef
- 1 1/4 lb chicken breast
- 2 cup shredded colby jack cheese
- 1 lb corkscrew pasta
- 2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large red/purple onion
- 1 tsp salt more if needed to taste
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp whole leaf oregano
- 1/2 cup parsley
- 1 tbsp Hungarian paprika
- 1 tbsp granulated garlic powder
- 1 tsp grains of paradise
- 29 oz can of diced tomatoes
- 29 oz can of tomato puree
- 15 oz can of tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup cabernet- merlot by yellowtail
- Cook pasta according to instructions on box
- Drain pasta
- Add parsley to the pasta and mix well
- Cook the chicken and beef cut into bite sized pieces I usely buy sirloin patties or form into patties cook and cut it to desired size
- Add onions to meat the red onions will absored all liquids let cook then deglaze the pan with wine let cook down watch closely the red onion is very thirsty even more so then a yellow or white
- While thats set aside add to a pot aall rhe other ingredients and then add meat cook for 15 -20 minutes
