Ginger Shrimp and Green Beans
- 1 lb. uncooked cleaned shrimp Safeway 1 lb For $8.99 thru 02/09
- 1/2 lb. green beans, cut into 2-in. pieces
- 1 Tbsp. minced peeled gingerroot
- 2 tsp. grated lemon zest Safeway 4 ct For $5.00 thru 02/09
- 1 to 2 red chili peppers, seeded, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA, cut up
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 6 oz. angel hair pasta, cooked, drained
- Cook and stir shrimp, beans, ginger root, lemon peel and peppers in butter in skillet on medium heat 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp are pink.
- Reduce heat to low.
- Add VELVEETA and milk; stir until VELVEETA is melted.
- Serve over hot cooked pasta.
