Danish Cream Cheese Cake

  1. Spread crescent roll dough onto a greased cookie sheet, lengthwise.
  2. Combine cream cheese, egg, flour, sugar and vanilla; beat until fluffy.
  3. Spread over dough.
  4. Reserve a few of the nuts to sprinkle on top.
  5. Sprinkle combined nuts, sugar and cinnamon over cheese mixture.
  6. Fold ends of dough into center over filling.
  7. Sprinkle a few nuts on top.
  8. Bake in preheated 350F (180C) oven for 1/2 hour until brown.
  9. Cool.
  10. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
