Moms Stuffing
- 4 bags of premade croutons, we use 14 oz bags.
- 1/2 lb butter
- 3 or 4 medium onion, chopped finely
- 4 or 5 stalk celery, chopped finely
- 32 oz chicken broth
- 1 tbsp poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1 tbsp sage
- Saute equal amounts of the chopped onions and celery in 1/2 of the butter.
- Once softened melt in remaining butter and spices.
- Allow to cool and hand mix with crountons.
- Pour broth over crounton mixture and continue to combine by hand until well mixed.
- Taste it!
- Adjust spices to your liking
- Bake at 350F for 1 hour, covered in a greased casserole dish.
- If you want a crispier top uncover for the last 15 minutes.
