Sauteed Cabbage and Fresh Peas

  1. In 5-quart Dutch oven over medium heat, in hot vegetable oil, cook onion until tender and golden.
  2. Add cabbage, peas, salt, crushed red pepper, and 2 tablespoons water.
  3. Over high heat, cook, stirring frequently, 10 to 12 minutes, until cabbage is tender-crisp.
  4. Sprinkle fresh thyme leaves over cabbage.
