Rich Chocolate Brownies Made Using Silken Tofu
- 2 Silken tofu
- 1 Egg
- 6 tbsp Granulated sugar
- 2 dark, 1 milk Chocolate bar (milk chocolate and dark chocolate)
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 50 grams White flour
- 2 tbsp Katakuriko
- 3 tbsp Cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 Almond, chocolate, etc. for topping
- 3 tbsp A liquor, like brandy or rum
- Preparation Lightly drain the tofu.
- Sift together the dry ingredients marked with .
- Chop up the chocolates.
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Put the tofu in a large bowl and mix with a whisk.
- Mix thoroughly until it has become creamy and there are no lumps.
- Once creamy, add the egg and the sugar in that order and combine after each addition.
- Meanwhile, combine the chocolates and the milk and microwave it at 500 W for 40 seconds-1 minute (watch it and adjust the cooking time).
- Blend with a spoon.
- Once the chocolates are melted, add to the bowl from Step 3 and combine thoroughly.
- When the chocolate have integrated, mix in the sifted ingredients and combine with the whisk.
- Once combined, add the liquor of your choice and mix one more time.
- Pour the batter into the cake tins and top with chocolates, nuts, etc..
- Bake for about 40 minutes in the preheated oven to finish.
- Once it has cooled, wrap with plastic wrap and chill it in the fridge, for an even better taste.
