Red Zinfandel Cranberry Sauce

  1. Put everything in a large pot except cranberries.
  2. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Stir frequently.
  4. Once sugars are disolved let simmer for 12minutes.
  5. Strain into a large bowl.
  6. Should measure a bit under 2 cups.
  7. Pour strained liquid back into pot.
  8. Add cranberries.
  9. They will begin popping like popcorn.
  10. Pour the remaining Zinfandel into a wine glass and enjoy while stirring the cranberries occasionally.
  11. After 25 or so minutes turn off burner and let cool.
