Homemade Chocolate Sause - For Canning

  1. In a small pot on medium heat.
  2. Bring water & sugar to a boil.
  3. Whisk in cocoa, vanilla, salt, corn syrup.
  4. Cook 15 minutes.Until slightly thickened.
  5. Ladel hot chocolate sause into your jars.
  6. ( I used half pint jelly jars).leaving 1/4" headspace.
  7. Clean rims of your jars.
  8. Prepare your lids & rings as directed on the box.
  9. Put on hot lids..Tightened rings on jars.
  10. Process 15 minutes in a hot water bath.
  11. Let cool 24 hours.
  12. Store & lable & enjoy.
  13. ( I got about 9 jars)..
