Turkey Chili Verde

  1. Heat oil in heavy medium saucepan over high heat.
  2. Add turkey; saute until just golden, about 2 minutes.
  3. Reduce heat to medium.
  4. Sprinkle cornmeal and cumin over turkey and stir 1 minute.
  5. Add green onions and stir just until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  6. Add 1 cup broth and chilis and simmer until chili thickens, about 5 minutes.
  7. (Can be made 1 day ahead.
  8. Cover and chill.
  9. Rewarm over low heat, thinning with additional broth, if desired.)
  10. Mix in cilantro.
  11. Serve chili over rice.
