Left Over Corned Beef Grilled Cheese Sandwich
- 2 whole Onions
- 1 Tablespoon Oil
- 1 cup Stout (dark Beer)
- 8 slices Rye Bread
- 4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 4 Tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 2 cups Corned Beef (cooked And Warm)
- 1 cup Sauerkraut
- 4 slices Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Finely slice your onions.
- Put the oil into a skillet over medium heat; once heated add onions and cook them for about 7 minutes.
- Add your stout and allow to the beer to simmer and evaporate.
- When done, remove from heat.
- Spread some mayonnaise and mustard on the rye slices.
- Place 1/4 of the beef, 1/4 of the sauerkraut, and some grilled onions on 4 slices.
- Place the slice of cheese over all the ingredients and close the sandwich with the other 4 slices.
- Grill the sandwiches (like you would a grilled cheese sandwich) for about 3 minutes in a well-greased hot pan.
- Flip the sandwiches over once the bottom side is browned to your liking and cook the other side.
- Sit back and enjoy with the rest of the bottle of stout!
