Basil Tomato Chicken-Rigatoni Skillet
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 small onion, cut into thin wedges Safeway 1 lb For $1.49 thru 02/09
- 1 jar (24 oz.) CLASSICO Tomato and Basil Pasta Sauce
- 2 cups rigatoni pasta, cooked
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Italian* Five Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA
- 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
- Cook and stir chicken in large skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat 5 min.
- Add vegetables; cook 5 min.
- or until chicken is done and vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Add pasta sauce, pasta, garlic powder and oregano; cook 5 min.
- or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in 1 cup cheese; top with remaining cheese.
- Cover; let stand 2 min.
- or until cheese is melted.
- Sprinkle with basil.
