Biscuit Topped Burgers
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup soy milk
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground sage
- 1/4 tsp celery salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup Barbecue sauce
- 1 can (8 ct) biscuits
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Mix ground beef, crumbs, soy milk, worcestershire sauce, egg, & seasonings.
- Shape into eight 3" patties.
- Place in ungreased 13x9x2 baking dish.
- Bake until done about 25 minutes; drain.
- Top each patty with 1 tbsp barbecue sauce.
- Increase oven temperature to 450F.
- Put a biscuit on each patty.
- Bake until biscuits are golden brown, about 10 min.
- Serve with additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
