Delicious Beef Brisket Recipe
- 5 pound brisket
- Garlic pwdr, pepper (salt optional)
- 1 (15 ounce.) can whole tomatoes
- 1 lg. onion, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 1/4 pound mushrooms, sliced
- Wash brisket and season to taste.
- Place in roasting pan.
- Cover brisket with tomatoes, onion, green pepper and mushrooms.
- Cover pan and cook in preheated 350 degree oven.
- Roast about 2 1/2 hrs, or possibly till tender.
- Cold, remove fat and slice.
- Better if prepared day before and reheated in gravy and served.
- Serves 8-10.
