Italian Pizzelle's
- 1 3/4 cup Flour
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 3 large Eggs
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 tsp Anise Extract
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Butter (unsalted)
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 as needed Powdered sugar (to dust the tops)
- Combine dry ingredients in a bowl (flour, sugar, salt, baking soda)
- Combine all wet ingredients in a different bowl (eggs, vanilla, anise)
- Wipe eggs, vanilla and anise together until light and fluffy
- Combine with dry ingredients and mix just until all ingredients come together
- Heat up Pizzelle press
- Using a tablespoon, scoop 3/4 of a tablespoon onto the Pizzelle press at a time, watch until golden brown (30-45 seconds)
- Take out and lay flat and top with powdered sugar dusting
