Healthy Pork Stir-fry with Plenty of Cabbage & Glass Noodles
- 1 approx. 1/2 Cabbage
- 200 grams Thinly sliced pork belly (or thinly sliced pork offcuts)
- 2 tsp of each Sake and soy sauce (for pre-seasoning)
- 100 grams Cellophane noodles
- 1 Vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp Chicken stock granules
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- Cut the cabbage and pork into bite-sized pieces.
- Preseason the pork with sake and soy sauce.
- Rehydrate the glass noodles in water.
- They should still have some bite left in the centre.
- Cut them into bite-sized lengths with kitchen scissors.
- Heat the oil over high heat and fry the meat.
- When it changes colour, add the cabbage and continue to fry until it becomes slightly transparent.
- Add the glass noodles and ingredients.
- Continue to fry until the glass noodles have soaked up about half of the liquid.
- You're all done!
