Baked Key Lime Pie Recipe
- 1 can sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 4 x egg yolks
- 1/3 c. bottled key lime (1/3 to 1/2)
- 1 x unbaked 9" graham cracker pi whipped cream for garnish
- This is mighty tasty and quite easy to make: Pre-heat oven to 325`F.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix together sweetened con.
- lowfat milk and egg yolks till well-blended.
- Slowly stir in the lime juice ( for more tart flavor, use 1/2 c. juice), stirring gently just till blended.
- Pour into pie crust and bake for 10 min.
- Allow to cold at room temperature, then refrigeratebefore serving.
- Top with whip cream, if you like...I think it's best with the whipped cream.
- Note:leaves room in the crust for whipped cream.
- If more filling is desired, increase the filling proportions by 1/2.
