Baja Style Fish Tacos with Cilantro Dressing
- 2 lb halibut fillets
- 1 yellow corn tortillas
- 1/2 sliced purple onion
- 1/2 bunch cilantro
- 2 cup cooking oil
- 2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup beer
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp ancho chili powder
- 1/2 tsp season salt
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 3 green onion stalks
- 1/4 onion
- 1/2 jalapeno
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- start by making beer batter.
- mix all ingredients together let rest 15 minutes
- salt & pepper both sides of fish.
- Heat oil in a pan till hot.
- dip fish fillet into batter coating well shake off excess deep fry till crispy & golden drain on paper towel.
- About 6minutes a side
- cilantro dressing: add all ingredients in blender taste for seasoning set aside.
- slice your purple onion and rough chop cilantro, and shredd cabbage for topping
- heat tortillas on a warm skillet and keep flipping till warmed.
- now you can assemble your fish tacos.Enjoy
