Anise Sausage Stirfry
- 1 cans pineapple chunked
- 1/2 pound polish kielbasa sausage
- 1 x vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic peeled and minced
- 1 large yellow onion sliced
- 2 cups carrots sliced
- 2 tablespoons ginger root minced
- 1 bunch broccoli florets cut in flowerets
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce, tamari
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- Drain pineapple, reserving juice.
- In wok or skillet, stir-fry sausage in 1 tablespoon oil for 1 minute.
- Remove from wok.
- Add oil as needed.
- Stir-fry garlic, onion, carrots and ginger until onion is soft.
- Add broccoli; stir-fry until tender and crisp.
- Stir in pineapple.
- Combine reserved pineapple juice with remaining ingredients.
- Pour into wok.
- Stir and cook until sauce boils and thickens.
- Serve over rice.
