Easy! Hard to Tear! How to Make Kinshi Tamago - Shredded Omelette

  1. Dissolve the katakuriko in water.
  2. Add the egg and mix well, cutting through the egg white.
  3. Spread oil evenly in the frying pan.
  4. Set heat to low, and add the beaten egg.
  5. When the edges become cooked and papery, flip over with chopsticks.
  6. Cook the other side over low heat, or turn off the heat and let it cook under residual heat.
  7. Take out the omelet, and cut into thirds.
  8. Slice very thinly, and it's done.
