Broiled Chicken (Malay)

  1. Pound spices until fine and set aside.
  2. Rub chicken with salt and set aside.
  3. Mix coconut milk with 1 cup of water, add spices then bring to a boil.
  4. Add chicken pieces and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove chicken and place on a broiling rack.
  6. Broil for 10 minutes on each side basting with gravy.
