Easy Breakfast Casserole
- 6 Eggs
- 5 Sausage Patties
- 2 cup Hash Browns
- 1 1/2 cup Shredded Cheese (Various flavors. I used Kraft Cheddar blend and Mexican blend
- 3 oz Milk
- 1 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 2 dash Parsley
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tsp Butter
- 2 Frying Pans
- 1 Deep oven safe casserole dish
- In frying pan, heat oil and cook hash browns completely.
- season with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper pepper and the parsley.
- In a separate pan, cook sausage patties according to package.
- Drain grease and set sausage aside.
- Preheat oven to 325AF
- In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, remaining salt and pepper and the butter and beat together thoroughly.
- Set aside.
- Chop up the drained sausage in small, bite-size chunks.
- Using an oven safe casserole dish, line the bottom of the dish with the potatoes, then top with 1/4 cup of cheese.
- For the next layer, top the cheese with the sausage and spread evenly.
- Add another layer of cheese, 1/4 cup.
- Pour in the egg mixture and top with remaining cheese.
- Spread evenly.
- Place in oven and bake 30 minutes.
- Remove and enjoy !
