Dutch Oven Candy Recipe

  1. In an oven-proof container combine all ingredients except nuts and vanilla.
  2. Bake at 275 degrees for 3 hrs and 15 min without a lid.
  3. Stir in oven several times during cooking time.
  4. Cook to hard ball stage.
  5. Let cold 1 hour.
  6. Beat with electric mixer for approximately 10 min.
  7. Add in nuts and vanilla.
  8. Pour into buttered plate.
