A Hamburger Chef Teaches You How to Pan-Fry Hamburgers
- 1 portion "Direct From a Former Hamburger Chef: Tofu Hamburger Patties"
- 1 tbsp Oil for pan-frying
- 2 tbsp Sake or wine
- 50 ml Water

- The Golden Ratio for Hamburger Steaks".
- Please refer to "Direct From a Former Hamburger Chef: Tofu Hamburger Patties".
- Toss the patties back and forth like playing catch to remove the air.
- Here are the hamburger patties with shiso leaves
- Start frying them!!
- Heat oil in a frying pan, and pan-fry for 3 minutes over medium heat.
- Please make an indentation in the middle with your fingers!
- That helps them cook through faster!
- Flip after 3 minutes!
- They should be nicely browned!
- Cover with a lid and steam-fry for 3 minutes!
- Flip after 3 minutes, and fry for another 3 minutes over low heat.
- Flip again after 3 minutes!
- Turn up the heat to high, and flambe with the sake!
- Cover with the lid and steam-fry!
- If you are worried whether they are cooked though or not, add water and steam-fry some more!
- And you're done!
- You'll be amazed how soft they are!
