Marinated Steak (Flank or London Broil)

  1. Mix together the wine, sherry, soy sauce and seasonings.
  2. Place the steak in a long glass baking dish and pour the marinade over the meat.
  3. Cover and chill at least 12-18 hours, turning the meat once or twice.
  4. Preheat the broiler.
  5. Remove meat from the marinade.
  6. Pat dry and broil, 4 inches from the heat for about 5 minutes on each side.
  7. To serve, cut thin slices diagonally across the grain.
  8. Serve with rice.
