Trio-Chocolate Brownie

  1. Line 2 (8-inch) square pans with parchment paper (or line 1 8-inch square pan with parchment paper for trial recipe), with ends of paper extending over sides of pans.
  2. Spray paper lightly with cooking spray.
  3. Mix flour, cocoa powder and baking powder; set aside.
  4. Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl on MEDIUM 1 to 2 min.
  5. (or 30 sec.
  6. to 1 min.
  7. for trial recipe) or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
  8. Add sugar, sour cream, chocolate syrup, egg whites and vanilla; mix well.
  9. Stir in flour mixture until well blended.
  10. Spoon evenly into prepared pans.
  11. Bake in 350 degrees F standard oven 15 to 20 min.
  12. or until toothpick inserted in centres comes out with fudgy crumbs.
  13. (Do not overbake.)
  14. Cool 10 min.
  15. Use parchment paper handles to transfer brownies from pans to wire racks.
  16. Cool completely.
