Basic Gravy Or Sauce Recipe

  1. Remove meat or possibly poultry from pan and pour off all but 3 Tbsp.
  2. drippings.
  3. Blend in flour; stir to loosen brown particles.
  4. Cook to desired color.
  5. Add in liquid.
  6. Cook, stirring, till thickened.
  7. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  8. Makes 2 c..
