Morocco Chicken

  1. Brown chicken in oil 4 pieces at a time.
  2. Pour off fat and add onions, stirring frequently.
  3. Cook 8 to 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in paprika, ginger, turmeric, salt and pepper.
  5. Add fresh lemons, chicken, accumulated liquid and water.
  6. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, 30 minutes until chicken is tender.
  7. Add olives and salted lemons.
  8. Cover and simmer 4 to 5 minutes.
  9. To serve, arrange chicken on deep platter.
  10. Pour sauce over chicken and serve with rice.
