Glen's Tangy Beef Brisket

  1. In a saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender.
  2. Add the next 9 ingrs., bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, simmer uncovered, for 30-40 minutes Place brisket in a roasting pan.
  4. Add 3 cups of sauce.
  5. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 4 hours, basting occasionally.
  6. Skim fat.
  7. Remove brisket, thinly slice the beef and return to pan.
  8. Add remaining sauce if desired.
