Chocolate Upside-Down Cake
- 2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 4 teaspoons butter melted
- 2 squares chocolate
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 6 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 3 cups water boiling
- Combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder together.
- Add milk and mix.
- Melt chocolate and butter together in a separate dish.
- Cool slightly then add to the cake batter and mix well.
- Pour mixture into a buttered 9x13 pan.
- Combine sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa together and sprinkle over the cake batter.
- Carefully pour boiling water over the top.
- Bake at 350F (180C).
