Grilled Monterey Sardines

  1. Whisk together all marinade ingredients and marinate the sardines for 2 hours
  2. For the Salsa: Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl.
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  4. Lightly oil the grill.
  5. Place the sardines on the preheated grill and discard marinade.
  6. Cook sardines for 5 to 7 minutes (depending on size) or until they flake easily with a fork.
  7. Serve with angel hair pasta, and/or antipasto salad, if desired.
