Brie With Glazed Almonds

  1. Scrape rind from top of cheese.
  2. Sift 1 tablespoon powdered sugar evenly over surface.
  3. Arrange sliced almonds over top, pressing firmly into place.
  4. *Can be prepared 1 day ahead at this point, returned to container and refrigerated.
  5. Remove from container and bring to room temperature before proceeding.

  8. Sift remining 1 tablespoon powdered sugar evenly over cheese.
  9. Transfer to baking sheet.
  10. Broil 6 inches from heat source, turning cheese as necessary , until top is evenly browned.about 1 to 2 minutes.
