Brie With Glazed Almonds
- 1 (14 ounce) brie round, room temperature (reserve original container and line with foil)
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 12 cup sliced unblanched almonds
- 10 seedless grapes, halved
- 6 bunches red seedless grapes (to garnish)
- Scrape rind from top of cheese.
- Sift 1 tablespoon powdered sugar evenly over surface.
- Arrange sliced almonds over top, pressing firmly into place.
- *Can be prepared 1 day ahead at this point, returned to container and refrigerated.
- Remove from container and bring to room temperature before proceeding.

- Preheat broiler and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Sift remining 1 tablespoon powdered sugar evenly over cheese.
- Transfer to baking sheet.
- Broil 6 inches from heat source, turning cheese as necessary , until top is evenly browned.about 1 to 2 minutes.

- Using foil as aid, transfer cheese to serving platter.
- Cut away as much foil as possible.
- Arrange grape halves in center of cheese, garnish with the bunches of grapes and serve.
