Dried Fruit Compote

  1. In a small saucepan, simmer together port wine and sugar over medium-high heat until the sugar has dissolved.
  2. Add dried fruit and dried cranberries.
  3. Bring mixture to a boil and reduce to a simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Set aside to cool.
  5. Serve over frozen yogurt and garnish with toasted slivered almonds.
