Chicken-Caesar Flatbread
- Oven-Roasted Tomatoes
- 3 qt. grape tomatoes, cut lengthwise in half
- 2-1/4 cups Kraft Creamy Caesar Dressing, divided
- Flatbreads
- 12 each prepared pizza doughballs (3/4 lb./340 g)
- 24 slices fully cooked bacon
- 1-1/2 qt. Kraft Shredded Asiago, divided
- 1-1/2 qt. grilled chicken breast strips, diced
- 1-1/2 qt. romaine lettuce, shredded
- Oven-Roasted Tomatoes: Toss tomatoes with 2 Tbsp.
- (30 mL) dressing (or with 1 tsp.
- 5 mL dressing for trial recipe).
- Spread, cut-sides up, onto bottom of parchment-lined sheet pan.
- Bake in 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) standard oven 15 min.
- or until tomatoes are roasted and begin to shrivel around the edges.
- For each flatbread (2 servings): Increase oven temperature to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
- Roll 1 ball of pizza dough into14x6-inch (36x15-cm) rectangle.
- Place in parchment-lined sheet pans.
- Dice 2 bacon slices.
- Spread dough with 2 Tbsp.
- (30 mL) dressing to within 1/4 inch (6 mm) of edges.
- Top with 1-1/2 oz.
- (45 g) cheese, 3-1/2 oz.
- (100 g) tomatoes, bacon and 4 oz.
- (115 g) chicken.
- Place flatbread on bottom oven shelf.
- Bake 15 to 18 min.
- or until crust is golden brown and cheese is hot and bubbly.
- Toss 1 cup (250 mL) lettuce with 2 tsp.
- (10 mL) of the remaining dressing.
- Place down centre of flatbread; sprinkle with 1 Tbsp.
- (15 mL) of the remaining cheese.
- Cut in half to serve.
