Maple Wasabi Crunch
- 3 cups pretzel squares
- 3 cups rice or corn cereal squares
- 1 (6-ounce) can wasabi & soy sauce flavored almonds*
- 1/4 cup maple-flavored syrup
- 3 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon maple flavoring
- 1 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces or chocolate-covered raisins
- Heat oven to 300F.
- Spray 15x10x1-inch baking pan with no-stick cooking spray; set aside.
- Combine pretzels, cereal squares and almonds in large bowl.
- Combine syrup, melted butter and maple flavoring in small bowl; pour over cereal mixture.
- Toss to coat.
- Spread cereal mixture into prepared pan.
- Bake, stirring occasionally, 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Spread onto waxed paper; cool completely.
- Place into large storage container.
- Add candy-coated chocolate pieces; shake gently to mix.
- *Substitute your favorite flavored roasted almonds or peanuts.
