Mariposa Farfalle

  1. Cook pasta according to instructions.
  2. Meanwhile mix feta and oil in a pretty bowl.
  3. Toast pecans until just black but not burned - they taste more substantial and less 'nutty'.
  4. Put the nuts directly from the oven/toaster into the bowl with other ingredients.
  5. Listen to the sizzle!
  6. Pour drained pasta into the mix and toss.
  7. Sprinkle with bacon bits and serve warm.
