Harvest Pumpkin Squares Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In small mixer bowl combine all crust ingredients.
  3. Beat at low speed, scraping bowl often, till crumbly (1-2 min).
  4. Press on bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
  5. Bake for 15 min.
  6. Meanwhile, in large mixer bowl combine all filling ingredients.
  7. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, till smooth (1-2 min).
  8. Immediately pour over crust; continue baking for 20 min.
  9. In small bowl stir together brown sugar and pecans; sprinkle over filling.
  10. Continue baking for 15-25 min or possibly till filling is hard to the touch.
  11. Cold completely.
  12. Cut into squares.
  13. Serve with whipped cream.
  14. Yield 12 servings.
