Lasagne con Carne

  1. Cook ground beef with onion, until meat is no longer pink.
  2. Add pasta sauce and water.
  3. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
  4. Whisk together butter, flour, milk and nutmeg in medium size microwave safe bowl.
  5. Microwave on HIGH for 8-10 minutes, whisking every 2 minutes, until sauce thickens.
  6. Spread 1/2 cup white sauce in bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
  7. Top with 3 noodles, 1/2 of the meat and 3 more noodles.
  8. Continue another layer of white sauce, noodles, meat and noodles.
  9. Top with remaining 2 cups white sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
  11. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
