Lasagne con Carne
- 1 lb. extra lean ground beef King Sooper's 1 lb For $3.99 thru 02/09
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (19 oz / 540 mL) Primo Thick & Zesty Garlic & Herb Pasta Sauce
- 1 can water
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 3 cups milk
- dash nutmeg
- 12 oven-ready lasagna noodles
- 2 cups Kraft Part Skim Mozzarella Shredded Cheese
- 1/4 cup Kraft 100% Parmesan Grated Cheese
- Cook ground beef with onion, until meat is no longer pink.
- Add pasta sauce and water.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
- Whisk together butter, flour, milk and nutmeg in medium size microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave on HIGH for 8-10 minutes, whisking every 2 minutes, until sauce thickens.
- Spread 1/2 cup white sauce in bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- Top with 3 noodles, 1/2 of the meat and 3 more noodles.
- Continue another layer of white sauce, noodles, meat and noodles.
- Top with remaining 2 cups white sauce, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
- Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
